Special K – The System / Danger

Interesting comment on YT regarding "Danger":
"This track issue came about when my best friend (DJ XS) who took his track to Kraig's studio and all of those samples you hear on the track were jacked. He then went on to release the remix and the original under his own name. Sorry, the bloke is a nasty piece of work..... I have plenty of stories, historical and current. Now divorced and living rough in NY, I believe his serving of Karma has been served

Reviewing 'Danger'
I am somewhat surprised to be writing the first review for such an excellent slice of heavy-hip-hop-sampling-jump-up that was played extensively by all the drum and bass fraternity back in the day. It really was one, that not only set the dance floor ablaze, but sounded good for home listening too and, more importantly, has stood the test of time. It was always peculiar that 'Danger' ended up as the AA side on this release, as it received far heavier rotation in comparison to 'The System'.
