Reviews
- Edited 3 months agoI bought a sealed copy of this record in 2002, and I can confirm that the sound is not good, it's really saturated.
Additionally, on my copy, the record jumps at a moment ("I just won't do[jump]you").
If you want this song, I guess you should try another version (there are a lot available!) - Edited 3 years agoI remember Sam Obernik came to do a live PA of this in Garlands, Liverpool. She stood on the centre platform on the dance floor and didn't sing a word. She was clearly wasted and just danced and shouted "Yeah', or 'Come on" every now and again. The DJ and production team gave her a death stare the entire time.
I wonder if she got paid. - The first time I heard this I thought it was amazing - the catchy horn line, the swinging beats, the catchy lyrics. I wish they still made tunes like this.
- This track has not reproduced very well on 12". The sound is a bit tinny. Who ever cut it should be shot. Why didn't the record label demand a higher quality pressing??
