Reviews
Thank you for releasing the famous missing, unreleased records. Finally we can touch Breitung's original tracks, done in the 80s as they were. It's a pity such great tracks have no extended versions or stems. I would be interested myself in remixing great tracks like Who Took My Girl into extended ones.
This is a great album. Never heard of Joy Peters until I by accident heard the songs "don't lose your heart" and "who took my girl". Then I bought the album - and what a great decision this has been. This is nothing but a really great album - and if you like artists such as Fancy, Modern Talking and Italo Disco (Scotch etc.) then you will nothing but love this album.
The album consists of 3 brand new songs, the three singles Joy Peters apparently released and then the rest are unreleased tracks. Why Joy Peters never released an album in the 80's are a mystery to me after hearing the songs. Apart from a few fillers (3 songs including the mix) all songs has something to offer. If you want to get a feel of the album listen to "don't lose your heart", "who took my girl" for the italo sounds, listen to "Asian heart" for the sound of the 3 new great tracks and listen to "sweetest dream" for the more soft sound on the album. The synthesizers are fantastic and Joy Peters actually have a really capable and great voice.
I do not understand the criticism of the album in the first review here on Discogs. I think the sound is more than ok, I think the new tracks are quite wonderful and compared to many other releases this release includes lyrics, a little story from the record company and such. I get the feeling this album has been a reality after many years due to true love from a gifted few who wanted to give as all such a great treat. And big THANKS for that.

I'm very happy with this CD! Finally (almost) al the Joy Peters classics, demo or not, on one album with the best possible sound, and 3 new tracks that fit really good in this track list. The songs I miss a bit are: "Bad Girl", but the demo version had terrible sound and "Don't Say", with the best bass parts on a song like that ever. But those could be redone (who knows) on a future Joy Peters album, that is not so far away at all, possible released this autumn, the next one! I think the package is good enough, all lyrics included (should be normal...) with a little history that tells the background of the CD. Greatly done by Space Sound Records!
