Reviews
- The Photek remix is outstanding, the rhythm section really sits in the pocket, complimented by the gradual build of layers. Plastikman version is also extremely good, he takes it there. However Alex Reese whom I’ve ever really been a fan off let’s the team down, his reversion is stripped back but not in a good way, straight forward, dull and with very little going on. It plods. It’s unfair to compare to Photek, but when done so it’s evident that with the former he was an expert in arrangement.
Was never a Mo Wax enthusiast, so arrived at this thro Alex Reece/Photek - not disappointed then or now. Only recently fallen for the Hawtin mix. A bargain 12" for the days....
I used the Plastikman remix and PHotek remix to great effect for several years - tight package here of those 'future' beats - Plastikman really made it a completely different 'thang' with that analogue gear.
All versions are great! For me, it's all about the Alex Reece and Photek remixes! <3 <3 <3
