Edited 9 years agoFantastic LP! Sugarman 3's best LP date - Great NYC Brooklyn based funky and hammond organ groove instrumental work outs. Highlights, many on the A side inc 'Rudy's Intervention', soulful 'Got To Get back To My Baby', cheeky 'But It's Alright', grinding 'Witch's boogaloo' and the even more amazing heavy uptempo funk grinder 'Mellow Meeting' on the B side. Inspirations sounding from Booker T's melting pot, Stax and Atlantic soul stable with hints of Young & Holt Ltd. Timeless midtempo to uptempo jazz funk classics, keeping the genre at top level. Highly Recommended - just what the world needs now. 8/10
