Reviews
- The end-all, definitive presentation of this score on compact disc. Goldsmith's music is a tone poem that exists in it's own mysterious world, apart from the film. Hearing the score here, in such an academically concise presentation is just magical. This score is a masterpiece and La La Land Records have finally given it the respect it deserves.
- Reissue when? This needs an affordable wide release when you can get three cuts of the movie on disc in 4K!
- Never thought I would have listened to this as many times as I have.
If you're a Trekkie who loves TMP's score, La-La-Land's release here is simply essential.
Seriously: hearing "The Enterpise" so well presented will probably bring a tear to your eye.
Be sure to play it on your biggest, bestest speakers! - This is the version you need to get. The absolute best sound quality this soundtrack release has ever had!
- Error on above Notes: Limited edition of 10,000 copies, not 1,000 copies - at least that's what it says on the back of the copy that I have.
