This was my first RatL album ever. I bough it from a random box of records at a record store in the east end. Bought it on cover art alone. How many times have I ever done that?? I just couldn't imagine any album with a cover like that and also named instruments and song titles as such could be more than half bad. I didn't know at the time that I had just discovered one of my favourite albums - and favourite musical groups - of all time. And why do I love this album so much? Well, my wife and I have somewhat different musical tastes. When I played Arabic Yodelling recently she said it sounded like two adults trying to play like children without any concern for whether they were bothering anyone around them. I was surprised that for someone who never listens to (nor particularly appreciates) RatL she nailed down exactly why I'm so fond of them.
