- Did this ever come with the postcard? I feel like I've seen so many copies of this over the years and I've never found it in a Canadian copy.
- I have this Canadian realease and Netherlands first press .
Canadian sounds little better more detail Netherlands more bass more analogue - I just scored this pressing with the inner jacket and postcard in IMMACULATE shape for $30 CDN. I'll be listing my re-issue and keeping this one. What a great pressing!
- I can’t believe how the band was able to produce a holographic 3D sounding record like this in the 70s. I have never experienced this record like this before. Extremely well balanced, super dynamic and massive soundstage. The listening experience is super engaging.
- Amazingly holographic 3-D sound & crystal clarity on this Canuck-pressed beauty. Don't think I have ever heard this album sound so good to be honest, as this mastering has perfect & I mean perfect balance. It just floats out of your hi-fi high & wide and sounds so 'in-the-room' & realistic it's spooky. Vinyl is whisper-quiet to boot.
- What a hidden gem, excellent pressing, smooth, quiet and very detailed. I own a German 1st press, Japanese 2nd press and the 2016 remaster and to my surprise this Canadian version is the best sounding of all of them.
- Crisp, wonderful-sounding pressing. A bargain at current prices. I own six various early pressings along with the 2016 remaster, and this version is quite noticeably best. Almost sounds like a pillow has been lifted from in front of the speakers in comparison at times. I have NOT heard a UK early pressing which I can only assume would top this, but you never know - Canadian pressings from the 70s are sometimes among the best known (Exile on Main St. being a good example). Still, probably "wish"ful thinking. Cheers.
- My copy is pretty rough so I can’t speak to the surface noise and pops but from what I can tell re soundstage and EQ this is a great sounding pressing that beautifully balances the lows, mids and highs.
- Great Pressing, much better than new reissue. Quiet pressing with a smooth, detailed sound and full bottom end. True all analogue sound.
- Man this press sounds very detailed - this copy is very quiet in white noise areas (could just be my copy but yea!).
Blown away what a nice surprise.
