Double 'A' Side single
Confusingly the main 'A' side [The Earth Dies Screaming] has 'AA' scratched in the runout,
with the other 'A' side [Dream A Lie] having 'A' scratched in the runout (It is usually the other way around).
The labels are correct with the main 'A' side [The Earth Dies Screaming] having '*' under the catalogue number, and
the other 'A' side [Dream A Lie] (usually called the 'AA' Side) having '**' under the catalogue number.
A SIDE * - The Earth Dies Screaming [one asterisk denotes first A side]
A SIDE ** - Dream A Lie [two asterisks denotes second A side]

- Edited 7 years agoUB40s finest work. The 12" version of 'The Earth Dies Screaming' is one of my all time favourite reggae tracks. As soon as I hear the intro I find myself reaching for the volume knob. In my humble opinion the band never again reached the heights of this release. Essential for any junglist I think. Don't be tempted to buy the 7" or the album release. The 12" version with that 3 or 4 minute dub intro is by far the best. Dream a Lie is no slouch either. Do yourself a favour and grab yourself some of the best dub reggae ever produced. Awesome.
