Not loving this pressing. Really quite noisy. Such a shame for a record this good.

Why do people feel the need to constantly mess about with Pink Floyd releases,at the end of the day it’s the difference between a few numbers in a run off matrix?,you play any u.k version on a decent set up you would sonicly not notice the difference I can pretty much guarantee you that

Pity about the sleeve as supplied as it is not an original and has the Written by Roger Waters credit.
Neither are the band members listed on the original sleeve and only the supporting backing singers are listed.

I've owned this UK 1st press for over 30 years. It was 2nd hand when I bought it and it had clearly been well played by the previous owner. I've spun it fairly regularly over the years since yet despite the odd pop & crackle and scuff from age it still sounds absolutely incredible. The soundstage is mind blowingly immersive with outstanding instrument separation; it's like the band are in the room. A truly fabulous pressing. If you are on a budget but hankering for a copy I can certainly recommend you ignore the pricey NM & VG+ copies; do your research and pull the trigger on a conservatively graded (and more conservatively priced) VG copy like mine. It will still sound better (and probably be cheaper) than a brand new copy of the 2016 remaster...

My copy came with two side 3/4 inners from the factory. Message me if you have an original side 1/2 inner to sell!

If anyone asks me what my favourite album is (stupid question!) I tell them"The wall".It`s certainly up there as one of the greatest but who can have just one favourite?
This is the closest I can get to my copy, still a few digits out though.
