Shrill and brittle, this sounds like it was remastered by one of those veteran engineers who's lost his high-frequency hearing, so he piles on the treble until he can finally hear it. The 1994 gold CD is considerably more expensive and missing the bonus track, but the mastering is far superior.

I have the 2001 edition which I understand is the same sound as this one, despite the wonders that people talk about this edition I find it compressed, in the background noise you can appreciate it more, is it my opinion or has someone else thought the same? After a while there are certain trumpets that begin to exhaust the ear...

Is this mono or stereo? My instinct tells me stereo. I wasn't certain as the front uses the mono cover art.

Probably undistinguishable from this version . The 2001 release can still have the yellow sticker, it also says (c) 1997. CD print looks the same as well.

One of best sounding CD in my collection, i own several copies of this album none of them can be compared to this edition.

This CD version sounds absolutely fantastic. Super clear, transparent, dynamic sound. I've heard later remastered vinyl editions and HD Tracks 24/96 resolution versions, and none of them can match this by far. Superior!
