A great band live who could actually play in tune most of the time. This is one of the better produced LP’s from the punk era, thanks in no small part to John Leckie.

Hello all, i went to the last gig of the original Adverts at The Marquee in Waldorf street, brilliant club although a tad small.About halfway through the gig i got up on stage and went over to Gaye Advert give her a hug and a kiss on the cheek, she smiled and the whole audience went woaahh she smiles, which made her smile some more.Brilliant gig. And i made the ice queen smile, i was cute at 15.

I bonded over this album with a local punk girl with liberty spikes back in the day. She was a hardcore punk one year and threw all her punk clothes away the next. I could never understand what was up with that. Very strange but she remained a nice girl and still enjoyed punk some. The girl gave me a copy of this album and I'd never heard of the band before and the album cover looked very strange and different for a punk record.
