Pings – You & Me

This is the debut release of UK producer/DJ, Pings.

The title track is soulful, jazzy and uplifting and features Rob-O formerly of INI on the vocals. Rob-O’s classic flows roll over Pings's chopped up piano sample and boom bap drums nicely. The ‘You & Me’ vocal hook is dripping with soul and complements the content of Rob-O’s reminiscent raps. He describes the vibes and the highs and lows captured in the group INI and tells a story of the groups progression.

The B-side features an instrumental song called ‘Fly Away’. The track is centred around string samples and a bouncing bass-line with guitar & piano samples throughout. To complete the track there's a ‘Fly Away’ vocal sample that compliments the song really well. Also on the B-side is the instrumental version of ‘You & Me.
