With it's Scott Walker overtones this is a simply brilliant album. The songs are lavishly produced and written with such engaging charm. There isn't a single song you can't readily identify with and characters in each song that you can't easily recognise in yourself. This is beautifully arranged body of work and well recorded too. If you like getting lost in good music and well crafted stories this is the ticket. I do agree with a previous reviewer though. Where is the vinyl edition? This album deserves it.....
