AA. Techno Trance (Paradise Is Now).
Epic buildup as the panned calls to "C'mon!" get louder and more commanding... then the sudden kick off and rat-a-tat percussion take over to shatter dancefloors the world over. Sasha used to play acapellas over the break to questionable delight of pilled up northerners, but this track deserves much more respect than that. Still being played by the likes of Carl Cox and Laurent Garnier to new school festival goers 30 years on; it's a true classic.

27 years - that's right. Actually (this comment written 11/02/2018) nearly 28 years and counting as it was first released circa very early spring 1990! And Techno Trance (Paradise Is Now) still sounds absolutely amazing. Every time I listen to this track I get severe goose bumps on overdrive. In fact, without listening to it, just by thinking about it I feel excitement. Real game changer for the times this was without question.

First heard this at Slam 2 In The Park 1990 and it nearly took off the roof. Picked up a 2nd hand copy recently and it still sounds very fresh. Love the way that techno producers at that time used vocal samples so effectively. So much better than a lot of the boring minimal music out there these days.

At the time of release, 'Techno Trance' was as The hardest track I had heard. A repetative bassline, heavy kick drum, looped riff and 'whoo - c'mon sample'. Still sends shivers through my spine when I hear it!
