One of the best sounding lps in my collection of 2000+ good sounding lps. 45rpm cut means fabulous dynamics and powerful bass. A couple of crackles but otherwise silent. As for the music, well it is quite oriental with some Hindu singing, gongs, bells, tabla here and there. Asian spirituality meets doom metal. But there's also cello and snarling vocals. And real compositional confidence, tracks snake like a giant boa constrictor. Once it gets a grip it doesn't let go. Is this the jewel in Om's crown? Probably. I'm really glad to have this fantastic production which is vinyl heaven.

I just received my copy from Drag City but it is a black (I wanted the burgundy) vinyl pressing in black paper inner sleeves (in contrast to the white paper inner sleeves shown in this release photos). Is this a new 2020/21 repress?

OM MY GOD!!! This 45rpm records sounds incredible, clean and super crispy sound. The atmosphere and spirit are clear and loud all over the room. Bass, cymbals, snare, vocals, cello all instruments sounds dynamic! One of my best sounding vinyls!

Bought this and ended up with the red pressing. 2x 45rpm discs.

This album sounds absolutely incredible on vinyl. So much more dynamic and expansive than the FLAC. The bass is punchy and tight. The highs in the strings and cymbals positively sing.

Absolutely stunning pressing. The best I’ve ever heard Om sound.

Hi, do any of you know anything more about RED version? I got my record today and spotted that it's red! It seems that this is something very rare since the standard black vinyl is "Have: 5529; Want: 2279 " and red one "Have: 12; Want: 6.".
Btw I can't find completely any information about this release!
Thanks in advace :)

Fantastic pressing, the sound is clean, loud and dynamic. Of course, the 45rpm means you'll be changing sides pretty frequently, but I'm nitpicking. My only real complaint is the crap paper inners it comes in, replace those immediately.

If you like this album, buy it on wax.
