Reviews
- This album made music history: Black Sabbath - Paranoid. It is the most successful album by the heavy metal band Balck Sabbath. The original 1st pressing on vinyl is very difficult to obtain.
TOP SONGS:
PARANOID
WAS PICS
IRON MAN
Planet Caravan
A MUST FOR HEAVY METAL FANS!!! ATTENTION: BEST SOUND ON RECORD!!!!! - I was never really happy with this version. i have now a US 1st pressing (Warner, green labels): it sounds much better !!
- Are there copies of this, without the Big Bear Management Credits on the inside sleeve? Everything else about the sleeve is identical.
- My copy has very clear crispy hi hat on war pigs. Not every copy is lame. I think it sounds as good as original UK press as I listen em both as frequent. Like Ozzy is singing in front of you, punchy drums and insane organic Iommi tone!!!!!!!!!!
- Edited 3 years agoI've got this and French early press with misprint (1970). French one is much crispier and cleaner in sound. German press have less treble and mid range as mentioned below.
- The A-Side of this pressing seems to have much less treble and mid compared to the B-side. Anyone else experienced this?
- In any format- vinyl, cassette, CD, etc; an absolute must-have for all metal heads. Sabbath's second release finds the boys in top form, with a confident, heavy sound. Some of their best-loved songs are on this one.
This album is a vital piece of heavy metal history. Play it LOUD! "\0.o/"
