- Looking for a cover only. I got the 1986 Canada press, but cover is beat. Will take any pressing if somebody can hook a brother up.
- I bought a copy of this from a musty dusty dark record shop hanging on by the skin of its teeth in Dorking Surrey (Track & Groove) in 1987 and the whole thing was just SO..... verboten. Like even the inner sleeve with Def Jam on - all that us little Surrey white boys knew of Def Jam even then was Run DMC and Beastie Boys. Influential is a seriously over-used word for anything these days, but this, is as influential as it gets. I mean ffs it was ALMOST recorded in 1985. That sound was WAY ahead.
- If you like Thrash Metal then this is as good as it gets. Other bands can only aspire to this level of greatness! Fucking brilliant 🤩
- Which CD version is Barry Diament's mastering -- the one with the longer, or shorter, version of "Rain In Blood"?
- Write up is slightly wrong. Tom Araya said himself in interviews before hand nothing to do with the album cover, and only due to the inclusion of Angel of Death.
Can hear this at 7:20 in this video
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4e0QlzMlO_M&ab_channel=Loudwire - Does anyone know which one was pressed first out of this and the Specialty pressing? And what are the differences if any?
- Just picked it up from my local record store today!! The fucking rain at the locked groove!!! that’s why you should only get the US pressing. Overall the album sounds nice good lower ends and nice highs also. Worth every cent I paid for. Not really sure if I got this release or the other USA release since the indicators have the same names
