Reviews
- Diese Platte ist auf jeden Fall interessant, muß aber auch nicht wirklich sein. Wie der Titel schon verrät, werden hier acht Songs von den Hardrockern Metallica auf vier Cellos nach gespielt. Man erkennt die Stücke schon nach wenigen Sekunden, daß sei gesagt, aber was ich mich frage ist: Warum nur Metallica-Songs? Mich hätten auch Interpretationen von AC/DC, Black Sabbath oder Judas Priest interessiert. Und wenn schon nur Metallica-Songs, dann doch wenigstens "The struggle within" oder "Nothing else matters". Das Cello ist jedenfalls ein hartes Musikinstrument. Und da gibt es auch schon wieder einen Kritikpunkt, denn diese Platte kann man nicht so gut in einem durchhören. Sie ist besser geeignet um sie einmal aus dem Schrank zu holen, ein Stück anzuhören, um sie dann wieder in den Schrank zu stellen.
Aber auch solche Platten gehören in eine CD-Sammlung.
