- Edited 5 months agoAnalog DMM version? My copy is the same as this entry...except no entry of 400 001 under the cassette catalog number on the upper rear corner of the back jacket. The bass is really pronounced. There is slight but noticable fade-up in the right channel at the beginning of John's on Lucy...as well as a more prominent guitar from George through the (Leslie?) speaker. Clear mix with a great low end.
Rumored to have been done by Bob Cremer, the guy that did the White Vinyl DMM. Look for the Apple pressing with the German text on the bottom rim of the label and the Engish on top. The bottom rim text will end on the left side with the English text Made In EEC.
Oh and like some Japanese pressings the run out gibberish starts right after the end of A Day In The Life...and is over by the time the needle gets to the label. - Pretty good pressing, but some error must have occurred when record was made because very noticeable low frequency rumble on record. l doubt this was intentional when record was made. However, if the subwoofer is turned off when playing, then it's pretty good. Has nice brilliant, clear highs. Aside from the 'over-rumble', nicely balanced sound.
