Crazy flip of a Jean Luc Ponty track with slamming garage beats, takes a while to build but well worth the wait and should keep everyone interested

fyi: people who love this, should seek the original Jean Luc Ponty song, from his 1983 release, Individual Choice, album. "Computer Incantations For World Peace" is the track is Basement Boys built this master piece on. Back in the day During my residency at DC's Clubhouse, I used to program the original version, over the top of a straight drum kick bonus beat lp called, Mix Your Own Stars. They took that idea to produced this incredible dance floor anthem. it showed what creative minds at work with the Basement boys, who I'm proud to call my friends.

One for any 'propa' garage or 'old school' deep house head. Although the main 12 mix rightly gets the respect its due, for those 'B-side' bad-boys and girls out their I recommend you flip this classic over and head for the final cut the 'Hump Mix W/ Chant' - its got a raw Kerri Chandler feel to its - more like dirty love, love, love! - Enjoy.
Also make sure you check out another great Basement Boys related production Jasper Street Co. 'A Feelin' (A Spensane Feelin')

Naive (in a good sense) and pure spirits meet great musicality loaded and dusted House vibes. Makes a beautiful, dust free classic.

I first heard this record played by a DJ called Linden C. Its was at a club called Empire on the south coast in the UK in Bognor Regis. Sadly this venue has burnt down. Now listening back to this record, violins used in house music I think is quite unusual for that day, which for me make's it even more of a stand out track. Fantastic way how this record builds from those pulled strings into the finger and thumb snap. Classic.

Is it Labelle that the other bit comes from? Big track. Could be wrong.
