- back in the day this was programmed easily as much as ross's version which remains a monster, but this jazzy version with synth, solo, can still rock a dance floor. u might also want to check out the 5th dimensions version. think it was only released on 45, but it was prttey strong effort as well.
"I Like It" has several moments, usually after a drum roll where it sounds like the record skips. I think it's just a bad tape edit but it's really jarring. Cutting tape is a lot harder than working in a sound editor. Or it could be that music is so stupid these days that I just can't even understand what's going on when musicians decide to drop back in on something other than the first beat.
