I often find people are exaggerating or flat out wrong when they complain about skipping or surface noise on new presses of records (often times it's just a dud or they have a bad setup.) But indeed, I just got what I presume is a recent repress of this and it sounds like complete shit! So muddy. Very disappointing.

Anyone bought the most recent repress in 2021? I'm interested, but not if it's as bad of a pressing as people were saying on the last round.

Just got the 2016 / new repress of this. Absolutely filthy pressing, 1st half of Flowers is ok, then it gets really muddy and skips. Landfill - why bother with this shit. Great song too :(

Does anyone own the original copy and the repress? if so then please can you create a new entry for the repress. There must be something, like a cat number or run out groove etch etc that differentiates the two. Maybe some at sound signature can help?

Can someone who owns this repress and is trying to sell it please make a new database entry for it!! Especially seeing as the repress clearly has issues and the original is fine!

Mine SKIPS as well, terrible pressing.
They pressed it with more BASS than
              the vinyl could handle !!!

Sorry for have to post this here as it's not exactly a review as such.
But, does anyone else have problems with Flowers start jumping after a few minutes?
I've tried it on two different turntables with same problem on both.

If you've been to see Theo Parrish at Plastic People in 2012 you would have no doubt heard the crowd-pleasing Flowers. Suitable for summer-time BBQ jams and late-night druggy hotspots, this is a record for all seasons.

All the hype may be about Flowers but on the B side is Take It Slow, a track with a few nods to West London that will have the real longevity.
