Reviews
- To echo those saying this is one of the best sounding records in their collection, ditto. This thing sounds immaculate, perfect, and magical. Its the kind of album that makes you feel justified in spending an exorbitant amount of money on a high fidelity system. The texture, the clarity, the stereo imaging, the depth, the dyanamics... it's all very, ahem, VERY FRIGGIN AWESOME! My only gripe is the crackling on the left channel on last song of the D side, for almost the entire song.
- Excellent pressing. I bought the new 45rpm reissue from Vinyl Me Please which is, believe it or not, worse in every way.
This 2012 reissue, despite being 33rpm, is far more dynamic and has tight, punchy bass.
The VMP is really a mess so, if you're thinking of going that route, I recommend going with this 2012 reissue instead. - sounds great to my ears, no noise, perhaps more on the quiet side then the original pressing, but not a bad things for this kind of music, phychadelic folk.
- Great album altho very quiet and my LP 2 had to be swapped as loads of surface noise (LP1 is dead quiet).
