- One of true visionaries of modern music. From pop, to the experimental realms of Talk Talk, with such reflection and potency. Mark Hollis was truly a wondrous artist. With this swan song solo album, I wonder what was his musings near the end of life when he dropped his body and carried on onto the next life from that damned disease. His music has been a friend to me during hard times and hope this man travelled on with solace and love over the mountains of the moon.
- For a late '90's CD, this sounds pretty amazing.
I also have the 2019 vinyl pressing which is pretty good too but if you've got the right DAC, there is plenty of analog like atmospheric detail and warmth on this CD to transport you into this incredible recording.... - Talk Talk was a very special rarity. from album to album a creative progression and on the top where was no further way to go, disbanded. after some years Mark Hollis put the crown on it with his sole solo album. very very rare - if not unique - in the history of pop
- Had 2 copies so far, recording is great
Pressing in full of pops & clips
Completely spoils the experience - Thanks for everything dear Mark - I still remember a Talk Talk concert, August 1986: mesmerizing, soulful, heartening.
Be in Peace and please keep on shining.
