The track titles of the Analord series are more interesting than almost all of the actual music. How can anyone be enjoying some of these? My cat could randomly come up with better melodies using a synthesizer from late 80s, if I had one.

Maybe the best of the Analord series - but that's a hard call. I do come back to this 1 more than the others when it comes to actually breaking out the vinyl ;) B1 Where's Your Girlfriend? is a major standout and a top fave of RDJ. GREAT ACID CUTS - that are a long way from the norm - in a very, very, good way = the AFX way ;) The whole series is E-sential.

This is my favorite part of the Analord series, with some of the best (and most danceable rhythms) as well as the tightest 303 lines of the entire series. Only part 10 rivals this as a high point.

With the Analord series, Richard D. James returns to basics, using only old, banged-up, analogue synthesizers to create the music. Each song is absolutely dripping with acid. You might want to pick up a roll of Tums along with this EP.

brilliant! apparently all created with the sequencer on the lable picture mc-4
So its a really simple style but really warm,
pretty amazing really as my friend had one of these sequencers and it was very hard to program, very tight timing though,
mc4 acid has some mental acid noises, essential record sure to be legendary soon...
