This has been a favorite since it came out. I picked up the original 1993 vinyl and it sounds perfect, no pops or clicks. Every song is on the money. There is a reason this is considered one of the top 500 albums of ALL TIME.

Surprised there's not a lower cost vinyl reissue of this album in the works.

If there was ever a time to strike out - with lo-fi slacker style sex appeal - it was the year "Exile In Guyville" broke out. Packaged and delivered an indie darling right out the gate Liz Phair pulled it off on her plain speaking heart felt debut with the help of Brad Wood and Casey Rice. Dropping F-bombs and touching upon "heady subjects" in full view when women were afraid to (or told not to) there was something that felt honest and real here.

Unfortunately, at nearly 56 minutes long it gets a bit long in the tooth 3/4 the way in and Liz's guitar structures/songs wear a bit thin.
