Notes
“Music For Reliquary House” consists of sonic reworkings from the “Reliquary House” audio/visual installation, a collaboration between Daniel Lopatin and video artist Nate Boyce.
“In 1980 I Was A Blue Square” is a suite of five pieces for piano, synthesizer and computer juxtaposing mid-20th-century classical music with electronic blasts.

Reviews
- Probably the most underrated album in Daniel Lopatin's discography and a great introduction to Rene Hell for OPN fans.
- This is a challenging release. OPN's side contains awesome sounds, but lacks the spiritual melodic focus that characterizes most of his other releases. At times, it can be downright disturbing, manipulating coquettish vocals and snippets until they become twitchy, demonic, and possessed. Proceed with caution with this one, it's extremely rewarding but only with one's utmost attention. "The Letter" is a gem and ends amazingly well, and really ties the whole side together. Rene Hall's side is very intriguing, as it mixes quite literally electronic landscapes and classically-oriented piano and orchestral excursions. "Meta Concrete", "Untitled Solo 4", and "Qi" are all standout tracks. Don't let this release pass you by!
