I think of STL as being the Jeff Mills of chunky house. Constant production output, a general adherence to certain elements that is consistent across every track (that kick drum for example), and probably a very interesting set of beliefs regarding the nature of reality underpinning all of his music.

"Where have you gone" may be the most polite house track in STL's catalog. The majority of his tracks have an eerie or sci-fi theme, this one is no exception. I also think that it is literally the most "playable to a typical crowd that wants to dance" song he's ever made. That melody is sweet and really catchy.
