...she stands right here to represent the lunatic scene around sonic youth,
birthday party, einstuerzende neubauten, lounge lizards, foetus, diamanda
galas & swans. "queen of siam" is her central early work, a punk vamp
classic of the genre. listen to the fiery "atomic bongos", the tricky jazz
brass-arrangements of "a cruise to the moon" or her great remake of
"spooky". she's the (morbid) underground sister of patti smith & pj
    harvey...

"Anyone who complains this much about inhumanity is obliged to display some humane emotion. Without that, this 'punk-funk' screech is just so much avant-garde horseshit."

I found this for $8 at Love Garden Sounds in Lawrence, Kansas and omg I love Lydia Lunch! Still after Teenage Jesus & The Jerks and most of her other material.. But this was a very good start!

This is truly a rare album. Buy it if you are able to find it. Atomic Bongos is the track I played while and Djing in the Los Angeles Area during the 80's. The vocals are amazing. A ultra rare find on wax indeed.
