I was disappointed by this pressing...everything seems super jacked, quiet in some spots / boomy in others. Tell tale parts like end of Keep on Lying has super unbalanced sound with the solo guitar that ducks under the mix.

Wtf happened?

Late to this comment party, but I recently bought a used 2-LP vinyl copy. I seriously considered returning the album because it just sounds...off -- like it was recorded in a bucket, to name one thing. There also seems to be a lack of bass response. I'm now listening to the remaster/reissue of Soundgarden's Badmotorfinger at the same volume and stereo settings, and it sounds really good (if a little quiet).

I have Innerspeaker on CD, and it sounds great, so this is a bit disappointing. However, it seems like there are a lot of complaints about modern vinyl. Radiohead's A Moon Shaped Pool deluxe edition from last year had quite a few reported problems (my copy was very good, luckily). I got Lonerism for a good price, so I'll hold onto it and maybe find the CD version for comparison.

Good music, but I wouldn't feel compelled to own the vinyl over any other format based on what's coming out of my speakers.

I purchased my copy through Amazon this month and did have a couple of pops on the D side, especially during "Nothing That Has Happened". Otherwise, my album was pretty clean.

Hmm... Well I own one and it sounds just about as any other vinyl nowdays sound like...Same thing with Innerspeaker. Perhaps those bad reviews were due to some people's bad luck of having to deal with a defective batch of vinyls, who knows... It happened to me a couple of times with Black Country Communion's Afterglow. The pressing was just shit plus the vinyl itself was deffective and scratched eventhough the LP was sealed.
