funny story, I don't listen to as much tame impala as I did back in 2018 however, I did manage to cut my finger on the paper sleeves once.

After owning currents and the slow rush, I was under the impression than tame impala only has good pressings. Unfortunately, my favorite tame impala album has the worst pressing. This thing sounds pretty bad

poor quality pressing, the hole on the 2nd LP is off center and both records are warped but still playable. also on side D the edge is raised way too high so when you place it on the edge it makes the needle jump off it to the middle of the first song. surprisingly my copy sounds decent, not great but not horrible. jacket is flimsy and it comes with those cheap white paper sleeves

My copy has so. much. surface. noise. And what's with Tame Impala's habit of leaving so much blank wax?

I don't know about most of these other reviews, but I'm perfectly fine with the copy I own of this album. If anything the bass is really heavy, but that's probably just my speakers, in fact it is. Either my copy's a good one or I'm not a "true vinyl enthusiast"

Just like the previous comments, this record sounds very distorted and has a terrible ear piercing sound on the highs. Very unfortunate, I love Tame Impala but the pressing is just terrible.

I was disappointed by this pressing...everything seems super jacked, quiet in some spots / boomy in others. Tell tale parts like end of Keep on Lying has super unbalanced sound with the solo guitar that ducks under the mix.

Wtf happened?

Late to this comment party, but I recently bought a used 2-LP vinyl copy. I seriously considered returning the album because it just sounds...off -- like it was recorded in a bucket, to name one thing. There also seems to be a lack of bass response. I'm now listening to the remaster/reissue of Soundgarden's Badmotorfinger at the same volume and stereo settings, and it sounds really good (if a little quiet).

I have Innerspeaker on CD, and it sounds great, so this is a bit disappointing. However, it seems like there are a lot of complaints about modern vinyl. Radiohead's A Moon Shaped Pool deluxe edition from last year had quite a few reported problems (my copy was very good, luckily). I got Lonerism for a good price, so I'll hold onto it and maybe find the CD version for comparison.

Good music, but I wouldn't feel compelled to own the vinyl over any other format based on what's coming out of my speakers.

My copy of this record is a bit noisy as others have pointed out. But worse than the noise my pressing sounds distorted in a few places. The song Elephant in particular sounds almost like it's going in and out of focus, with certain sections sounding clear and others sounding blown out. Unless the vinyl copy is just very differently (badly) mixed, it seems this is a very poor quality pressing.
