One of the greatest Australian bangers of all time, plus a bunch of mostly forgettable 80s pop songs.

John was the king of Aussie Music in the 60 &70 but by the mid 80’s he was broke. His manager agreed to one more record, it cost $150,000 to produce and was taken on by RCA without listening to it after everyone else had rejected it. On release the track ‘your the voice’ went to number #1 and stayed there for a year with the album selling 1.5 million copy’s and saving John career.

John Farnham finally broke through with this album and deservedly so! After all these years, a new generation are now hearing him for the first time and are amazed at what a world class voice and performer he was back in his hey day! This album brings back a lot of memories for me. It has that unmistakable ‘80’s production and despite the pressing being a bit on the thin and bright side, the hits off this album and of course; the voice are first rate!

Comeback album for somewhat forgotten (but phenomenal) Aussie singer. Slightly dated MOR 80’s production but no less impressive songs & amazing vocals.
              Worth re-discovering.
