I think this was released in March/April of 1968. Both Billboard and Cash Box have reviews in their April 6th,1968, issues. The album before and after this, based on catalog numbers (SD 1496 & 1498) were both released in 1968. Wikipedia says it was released in March 1968, but also sites a database with a 1967 release. None of this is definitive, but I tend to lean towards the review dates.

Live recording of Super Groovy 60s flute jams with an array of Middle Eastern musicians and instruments spicing things up. I'm not familiar with many of the instruments on this recording, but I recognize virtuoso playing when I hear it. The drums are especially bonkers. To boot, this is one of the finest sounding pieces of wax that I own. The recording quality and pressing are excellent. Think Austin Powers in Istanbul. A true bargain.
