As always with the ISSS crew - a mixed bag of psychedelic curiosities. These volumes were quite welcome in the 1990s when they were fresh. The sound quality sometimes lets them down though with what sound like 3rd generation cassette dubs of the rarer tunes (somewhat out of the mould of the Chocolate Soup comps).
As time goes by these comps become less relevant as the tracks can be found in better quality on official collections.
Still much to enjoy with one of my all-time favouries - Mr Guy Fawkes by The Dave Miller Set. Lovely melodic piece of psychedelic pop - out of Australia I believe.
Nimrod, Mec-Op Singers, Jimmy Curtiss, loads of good stuff.
