- This whole album is good!
My local record flea market had some new material since the last time I'd been there a few months back, and I found this for something like a few dollars with a bunch of random stuff. Instantly recognized the title of the classic cosmic track that I'd used in a ton of laptop mixes, usually as an opener.
I expected the other tracks to be similar or less than African Queen, but they all kick out the jams and are much faster tempo than AQ. They're similar to A Certain Ratio, Konk, Ze Records stuff. Fast guitars, imprecise vocals, burning drums, lots of horn blasts (~almost~ too many).
Nice find! The only lowpoint is the "rap" on A3, and even that is not too bad.
