Have a copy that I purchased for $50(aud) on release and only played a couple of times (stream it a lot). I put it up last year for sale and then withdrew because these are rare as hens teeth and it is one of my favourite Beck albums. Stunning release and without doubt the best sounding record I own!

wonder if those people who paid $77 realize they got scammed yet? c’mon guys, if it’s too good to be true it probably is.

I'm thinking of buying a sealed copy of this, but it's missing the hype sticker. The seller claims it's pink, but is there any way to tell without opening the record if it's the pink or black pressing?

If the pressing was strictly limited to 1000, why is the one in the pictures #1006?

This sounds insanely good! Like night and day compared to the standard release.

I finally got a hold of one of these and compared it to the ones I had. The standard version is very good, I played these back to back and I much prefer the MOFI version. People saying there is no difference are either mad they don't have one, didn't hear this, or have a system that just isn't good enough to tell the differences. I'm not trying to be a dick or anything, but it's true. I was there at one point and couldn't tell a difference between some pressings, but I'm finally at the point where I can.

I got this for a reasonable price and couldn't be happier.

                System:
                MA8900 receiver
RP3 - upgraded the platter, sub platter and belt. Ortofon black stylus
                speakers: B&W 600 series

I have'nt heard the standard pressings of Sea Change but i collect MOFI and they have been a great investment if you get in early enough, they keep going up in value so depends how you look at it. My Pink and Black vinyl versions have appreciated nicely.

Honestly the standard black pressing sounds AS GOOD as these MOFI versions. The difference is virtually negligible. Save the coin. So much of this audiophile rheortic is just arbitrary elitism.

If you're a Beck fan or you just want one of the top audiophile albums in your collection, look no further. This one is worth the coin. This pink vinyl copy is a winner. Other pressings DON'T compare to this one.
