Produced by Roni Size and Krust under an alias, "Tear It Up" is a fuckin' amazing piece of Jungle. This tune is the very definition of the term DRUM AND BASS. The title is a fair description of the reaction you should have upon hearing this incredible production.

The beats on this are some of the craziest, funkiest breaks I've heard put to vinyl. They sound like a live, amphetamine crazed drummer and will have you jumping around like a lunatic. These aren't monotonous locked beats though. Brilliantly inventive, they slip and slide with intricate fills and rolls and the use of hi-hats is exhilirating. The bassline is also a mad, vibrating, floor-shaker. When played loud this will make your body tremble whether you're moving or not - it goes straight through ya!

About halfway through, just when you think it couldn't get any more mental it breaks. Then it kicks back in with some incredible, manic and furious percussion and the beats become even more ballistic! This is breathtaking not only in terms of the physical effect it should have on you but also the skill with which it is made.

This is one of my favourite Dance records ever. I've owned this for nearly 10 years and it still gets the same reaction from me as it did the first time I played it. I've yet to hear any music that rivals this one tune for sheer energy and rhythm. Tiger Kung-Fu for people who really want to dance and not prance.

If you're considering joining a gym to get fit then I would suggest buying this instead. I prescribe that you play this once a day, everyday for a few months and you'll be as fit as an athlete. It will also save you all that money and tedious hours spent down the gym.

Highly Recommended - This Is WICKED!!!
