Probably (and I hope I'm wrong), the last excellent Legowelt's album close to his earliest releases. You can still find some crazy melodies inside it but the overall sounds more like club house. "Clap Yo Handz" is my favorite track, so unexpected and surprising from Legowelt.
The extra tracks on the 10" (sides E/F) are very nice too and matches perfectly the mood of the entire album.
Play the beginning of the 1st track "Danger In The Air" at 45RPM, you will recognize Twin Peak's theme in the background at the end of the speech.

I'm surprised no one felt this one warranted a review or comment. What I like about this album is that it is free of gimmicks. Legowelt's style isn't anything fancy, it's your standard house and techno (mostly 4/4) with a lot of oldschool analog synths. But unlike many other releases, this one feels like an album because we explore a whole spectrum of sounds and moods and there's a good sense of progression. "The Paranormal Soul" is a robust, vibrant release that I'd put at the top of my favorites for 2012. I can't emphasize how many garbage techno albums I had to go through this year before I got to this one.

Or as Danny Wolfers puts it: "i dont mean that boooooooooooring contemporary shit they call techno nowadays with overrated tallentless pretentious douchebag cunt DJs playing a few halfassed dumb mongo beats and being all arty fartsy about it."
