I have this record without MATRIX CODE, anyone else? Can it be a BOOTLEG?

Great sounding pressing. Comes with "Aggressive Perfector" and sounds a little out of place. Other than that this is a good way to get an early copy of this album.

Historic & essential album. This album was the cause to start listening thrash/speed metal on 1988, when i listen to them first time.

Anyway, the reason that i m here is that i would like to mark to anyone that this ALBUM, this SLAYER ALBUM is unique, is very different from the others which followed. We all know that (95%) many many debuts from many many bands (especially in thrash / speed / death metal)are 'primitive', raw without specific technical music elements & without good sound engineering (listen debuts from Megadeth, Exodus, Sepultura, Death, even Metallica's 'kill em all' which is a very good debut but it's not 'master of puppets') etc.etc..

Show No Mercy is a different debut. For me this album is much more technical than the right next 3-4 (which i love them), with many turns & alternation in the rhythms on many songs. Also, i can listen clearly many NWOBHM influences in this album (sometimes reminds me the Iron Maiden's self titled & 'killers' album). Also, this is the most melodic album Slayer's album, many guitar riffs (not the one-way riffs as in the Mega Thrash Thing 'reign in blood').

The most important is that is THE ONLY ALBUM THAT I CAN LISTEN MELODIC GUITAR SOLOS. Usually, King & Hanneman, have their own way to take their solos. Here, is the first time i listen nice build-up guitar solos.

Anyway, i have to notice & make this review for this speed metal specific case debut.

For me SLAYER is a band that i will always listen to my life. I love all their albums (except the 2-3 when Bostaph replaced Lombardo, huge drummer Bostaph but Lombardo is for Slayer, as Ringo was for Beatles).
