Marco Passarani gives everyone a SULLEN LOOK, but looks can be deceiving, as a strange warmth beats out of "Earth's Heart" and into the smooth electro of "Red Panda Sunrise" and "Twisted Romance." A touch of funk slides into "In My World" and the undeniable bounce of "Dirty Needlework" adds a hefty amount of perk. "Criticize" moves into solid house territory with a retro flair, aided, in no small part, by Erlend Øye, while "C-B-S Master Theme" goes more Italo with its electro. The smooth tech-house of "Clair" is particularly interesting in the way that the synth lines integrate into a lovely harmonic fold, though the electro leanings of "Claiming My Tears Back" display the same melodic attention. There's nothing sullen about this album whatsoever.

Although I will deffinately agree with the other comments about past Passarani ventures, I actually really like his Analog Fingerprints releases, especially the tracks with electro elements. This release takes that core sound of Finalfrontier's "Italo-Electro'' (Raiders Of The Lost Arp, "Pigna"...) style to a new peak. This is a very solid release, absolutely the best from Finalfrontier. Very dance oriented, fusing Italo, techno and house with electro. The vinyl is scheduled for April 25th 2005.

i agree with the previous comment on passarani's earlier work. i've heard a few songs here and there, but nothing as solid as this album. it really reminded me of my SEGA Genesis, so i'd comment that this album hovers between electro/VGM. excellently orchestrated and very recommended!

Well i'm not a big fan of passarani, too much funky elements in his works, but i have to admit this is best electro i've heard in the last year.
There's a couple of monster tracks in this album EARTH'S HEART and C-B-S Master Theme,
Very mature work.
