- This is just a rip off of https://youtu.be/Z-5W2KOdVrI . . .
- Edited 4 years agoSuch a good release. The vocal sample is also used in Larry Heard's - Burning 4 Love (or just Burning)
- This is a SICK promo! If you can get your hands on one you should grab it, cuz these cuts are ONLY available on vinyl.
Of course the lead track 'Chanté', (based on the Delicious Inc single "Eau De Chanté" from '95), holds true to the original, yet adds it's own kick-ass flare of creativity.
The flipside track 'Paqui Tu Heppa' is a sick choon, also based on an old 90's sample (that I can't quite put my finger on). This one is a real fist-pumper and demands to be enjoyed at loud volume levels. The bassline and use of percussion plus sampling efforts, makes it a superbly lush house track.
Bottom line is that both cuts on this 12" are what I call "proper house", and for sure they get the much deserved "wrist-pect" from me on deck.
