Reviews
- Very nice surprise. This album is mostly pastoral, with elements of 70's classic progressive rock, in the choice of sounds used. The piano is king here, along with organs and analog synths. Merging classical and even folk influences and a little bit of jazz occasionally (not that much), the music flows naturally. One can think of early Renaissance albums, which might well be one of Jason Hart's influences before he actually joined the band for concerts. Jason is a very good keyboard player but mainly an inspired composer. The music on these long pieces is very melodic, not overly complex but quite sophisticated, definitely. The vocals are soft and restrained, pleasant if not outstanding. It's obvious Jason Hart has got talent and some chops.
