I still recommend original guidance release because it has 2 special and 2 very good tracks, and current market value isn't so crazy.

For me personally, this is THE Guidance record, it sums the label up very well and has one of the true legends of House music in the driving seat for a stellar release. I would sell a little finger before I sold this!

This, for me, is an absolute classic. Deep house doesn't get much better than "The Cimmerian." Really deep but in no way boring. The strings, beats and echo effects really make this stand out. The two mixes of "Need Ur Love" on the other side are also essential listening for anyone who is into real house music...

Only Callisto sounds like Callisto. Just when you think you have him pegged he produces a track that slides out of the box into another zone. Any deep house fan who thinks Callisto is menacing darkness personified should check out "The Cimmerian", one of his best efforts. If he brings anyone to mind, it would have to be 16B with his obsessive attention to percussive quality...yet that doesn't quite capture him either. Clean out your inner ears and listen.
