Does anyone know what "S.E.L." means in Major Minor's runouts?

There is a uk major minor stereo pressing of this but only a white label test pressing, plain white labels with just “test” printed on each side and SLP-029-A-2L / SLP-029-B-2L stamped in runouts, also has S.E.L at 12 o’clock stamped in runouts and label grove like the standard issue. No cover.

Does anyone know who gets the production credit on this album? I imagine Tom Newman actually produced it (or at least had a hand in doing it), taking into account his later career. But is there an actual production credit?

Anyone know if a Stereo version of this exists? The stereo Major Minor stereo version listed on RYM seems to be a myth. Do a search for it and you get no actual results. So, is the US issue on EPIC actually stereo as stated on the labels?
The reason I ask is because all the CD issues to date are mono.
Anyway, as I'm in contact with him on Facebook, I posed the question to Tom Newman, who answered "It was recorded on x2 4track studer machines - same format as sgt pepper, but it all fell apart so soon after that I never knew whether it appeared in stereo or not . . . I've never heard a stereo album, though I seem to remember it was mixed in stereo . . ."
So, nothing conclusive there. So, can any Discogger with an EPIC copy answer this?
