Great album and one of the most attractive pressings I've seen, the marbling is really beautiful. However, there is a lot of surface noise, to the extent that it interferes with the listening experience. The digital version sounds much better. Still a record that is fun to chop up and filter etc, in which case the crackle becomes part of the tapestry. I will always choose sound quality over aesthetics, though. Please, Ghostly, put the money into the sound quality and stop the gimmicky colored vinyl. They look beautiful, but the music suffers.
Wonderful album. Not sure where this was pressed but mine has a fair amount of pops and clicks. Hopefully a proper recut is coming at some point in the future.
Great stuff! My white splatter is more streaky across- A lovely album for the ambient music lovers.
