Reviews
- Interestingly, some of the tracks on this LP are true stereo mixes. Unfortunately the title track, and a few others are phase-shift fake stereo. Better than duophonic, but still pretty bad.
- I bought the STEREO version of this "96 TEARS " CAMEO RECORDS 1966 release when it first came out but it turned out that the LP was NOT TRUE STEREO. It turned out that the LP was "electronically stimulated to produce stereo" - FAKE STEREO !! - BAH !! I have always wanted TRUE STEREO RECORDS and this one became a bust. I no longer have LP's and I am strictly a CD collector! The song "96 TEARS " has been DES ( digitally extracted stereo ) STEREO and can be listened to on youtube.
- Edited 3 years agoDoes any one knows about the Version of this Lp, where Stormy Monday lasts about 5 minutes?
- First pressings on Cameo have a Side 2 label mis-print...the last track is listed as "Tears" instead of "96 Tears"
