I have every original Misfits 7” minus “Bullet”
I’m still looking for my holy grail “AF United Blood”
Roger of Af traded a copy for a white vinyl SamHain(nuts IMHO)
I plan on burning (torching) all my vinyl when I leave this planet!
All THINGS MUST PASS!!! Viking funeral

probably NOT the best place to say this, but the Misfits Coffin Box set (and some well done bootlegs along the way) have better sound than the vinyl on CD for these songs. anyone can get a copy for relatively cheap. seems crazy to pay the asking price here..
if you ARE a vinyl fanatic, i have seen bootlegs/reproductions in the $30 range that sound the same.
$150 for a real copy of 12 Hits from Hell is a splurge that i can see a lot of collectors (especially Misfits fans) making, but $10K for this?
think i would pass on principle, even if i hit the lotto!!

I'm going to guess that we eventually see some kind of RSD reissue of this for way too much money then assholes will flip it for way too much more money.

Def priced to keep, and not to sell... wouldn’t pay that price even if I had the money.

Never thought I would say this but I regret not buying the heat-damaged copy that showed up back in 2019 for 500 euros...

Well, if i didn't already have it (got the original in a swap for a homemade Misfits t-shirt in 1984), and i'd won, or come into a large amount of money, i would pay what it cost to obtain what i want.. wouldn't you?.. This record is OUTSTANDING. Many people didn't 'get it' at the time, some still don't.. Sure, if you don't like-you don't like.. but NOTHING sounded like this in 1977, no other punk record has this much menace.. this much darkness.. An incredible vocal performance, bleak, desperate noir lyrics, pulsating electric piano, gut churning bass, and incredible jazz influenced drum patterns.. so unique, so powerful in it's own way.. an all time fave of mine, sure it's not representative of what was to follow but an important start to the story of one of the best punk bands of the late 70's-early 80's. Faultless.. untouchable.. worth it.

This is an expensive record. I came here to say this. Thank you for reading my comment.

I remember about fifteen years ago a guy listed a complete collection of every Misfits release on ebay. Vinyl, CD's, and every version of them. He might have included all of Samhain's releases as well. He listed the collection for $100,000. Not exactly a shock that nobody bought it. I would love to have that collection, and would not sell it.

Funny story - a guy once paid $10k for 3:34 of music. Awesome.
