Reviews
- I have nothing but the best to say about the pressing quality, pleasantly surprised... low end bass, open soundstage with lots of overhead and clarity. Never knew Canadian pressing could sound this good. A keeper.
- Great sounding record. Plays clean and the vocals sound really good. A bit on the quiet side but still mastered very well.
- I agree with the others. Bought this used and after a quick clean this sounds amazing. Very good mastering and pressing. Crisp highs, deep but clear low end.
- Now here is a perfect example of why TLC mastering & Cinram pressing can make a huge difference in sound-quality for Canuck LPs. This thing sounds terrific, with good clarity, nice bass & 3-D holographic sound. If you want a good Canadian pressing of this album this is the one to get, just sayin'...
- The bass on this album is phenomenal! "Bullet in the Blue Sky" and "Exit" are surreal experiences to listen to on vinyl with that booming bass and high range of dynamics popping out in four dimensions. My copy does have some surface noise that can be drowned out during the louder songs, but I assume that was from me cleaning the vinyl as I bought this as a scruffy copy at a used record store. This will require another listen in the near future and I'm not complaining.
Turntable: Fluance RT82 High Fidelity with Ortofon OM10 Cartridge
Cables: Stanard RCA cables and speaker wires from Amazon
Speakers: Klipsch R41M 50-Watt Bookshelf Speaker - Agree with Mike03! Totally awesome pressing with very well balanced sound. Nice warm, clear and "round" sound, even with the relatively long durations of both sides.
- This pressing is excellent with great dynamic sound and deep bass. The highs are not exaggerated but clear. The music is excellent and one of their best albums.
