yeah, there isn't much of what is called "psytrance" on this album, and it probably is one of yahel's more "easy listening" albums, but it is probably my favorite. it has the yahel sound to it, and a few really good tracks on it (i don't know if they would be considered generic trance, it's kind of trance, with psychedelic influence, but not really psychedelic trance). my top three tracks off of this album (and some of my overall favorites from yahel) are: siam, liquid love, and speed.

by no means am i saying it is an amazing album either, i'm not a huge yahel fan, but there are a select number of tracks that i really like. however, i do kind of think some of the tracks are weak, e.g. master of disaster is kind of a laughable track... lol...

I rate this album as one of the best trance albums I have listened too and I have listened to a lot, including; Tiesto, Armin Van Buuren, Paul Van Dyk and Paul Oakenfold. Yahel ranks among these artists. This album has a positive vibe troughout and it really makes you feeel happy and wanting to dance. I recomend this album to everyone as it has a wide range of appeal!
It was with this album that I discovered Yahel and from then onwards he has become one of my favourite DJ's of all time. He has impressive melodies and catchy tunes that will make you listen to this album over and over again!

Yahel (Yahel Sherman) from Israel is out with a new album on Phonokol, this time called Around The World. Inside the booklet of this CD, you can see pictures from parties around the world where Yahel has played live. Yahel is well known for following the more fluffy side of trance.

Here comes a very short review this time. This is not very psychedelic at all. Here we are talking about club trance, or socalled commercial euro trance. Uplifting, easy digestible melodies and cheap take offs through the entire album. I can understand that a lot of people in this world who just want to party, like this because they don’t have to digest the music at all, but for most psytrance people, this album sounds way too cheesy. Music that for sure will hit a young crowd who goes to a commercial rave for the first time or something, but personally I can’t stand it. With other words, this has actually not much to do with psytrance at all, except for a few ingredients. Hits for kids...
