Adding to the beautiful noise that is asking for a "true" vinyl pressing of this record with all the uncompressed dynamic glory, mastered by a contemporary jazz mastering engineer (ie KPG, BG, RKS, etc.) and plated and pressed at a reputable place! A small ask for such a giant of a record.
I hope that this album finds its way to vinyl. This album introduced a wide audience to jazz musical structures.- This album annihilates expectation. A prog-jazz dream that begins with a rhythmic intensity that precurses that same energy throughout. An obvious standout is track 3, of which the title alone has likely inspired more listens of this album than any review. The track that deserves true accolade, however, is Flim. This album is not new, but with the band's recent release and return to touring, I hope listeners will look at the rest of the catalogue and uncover this star.
